Another “one of a kind” in Oklahoma is in the WesTen District
Cristo Rey Oklahoma City Catholic High School is a Catholic learning community that educates young people of limited economic means to become men and women of faith, purpose and service. Through a rigorous college preparatory curriculum, integrated with a relevant work-study experience, students graduate ready to succeed in college and in life. They welcome students of all faith and have enrollment open now.
They opened their doors on the campus of OSU-OKC to the first class of 9th graders on August 10, 2018. Each year thereafter, we will add another freshman class of 108 students. By 2022, the school will serve grades nine through 12 and have an enrollment of about 400.
One of most innovative unique aspects of the school is their corporate work study program where, in partnership with 58 partner companies, each student works 5 days a month to not only help pay for their tuition but also learn critical life skills.
