A Teacher & Her Student

WesTen Bright Spots are everywhere.  Jan, a long time WesTen Briarwood Estates resident and retired schoolteacher, recently told us about a student she had at Council Grove Elementary School decades ago.  They have stayed in touch and have coffee together at least once a year.  Jan is grateful for this friendship and the fact that the student has gone on to become a teacher and received her master’s in education.  

This is the best kind of Bright Spot and legacy!
