A Historic Diverse Community

Committed to improving the quality of life for residents and businesses, WesTen continually works towards a positive future by building networks to create community, facilitating programs and focusing on collective improvement for the common good.

With a rich Oklahoma history beginning with Council Grove in the 1800’s extending to the 1940s when WesTen received its name, there are hundreds of businesses—locally-owned, unique, national brands and multi-generational, all surrounded by diverse neighborhoods.

The WesTen District has a geographic footprint of I-44 west to County Line Rd and NW 16th St to Reno with the NW 10th St corridor as the historic core.
