The WesTen District has had at least one movie theater over the years, but we don’t think there has ever been a drive-in movie option; that is, until now!

Thanks to Oklahoma State University-Oklahoma City, residents can get one of the free 92 spots to see a family friendly movie on the university’s campus at NW 10 and Portland Avenue.

The movies will be open the public and free for all attendees, with the series set to kick off on Saturday, August 1 with a screening of the Disney/Pixar animated film “Onward.”  on a dedicated FM radio station frequency typical of modern outdoor movie theaters.

Registration is required here.
