A Long Time Community Partner & Bright Spot

It is good to know the history and beginning points of places in the WesTen District. Capturing part of the West Side Lions Club’s, a LONG Time community partner, beginning was on May 13, 1952 when Lion’s Club president Preston Rowe and his grandson, Robert E Rowe (at 4 years old); along with board members Leo E. Ford  Bob Vaughn reviewed the plans for the initial construction work at NW 10 and Utah. The Rowe family is still a property owner in the Northwest 10th Street corridor.

Thank you to the West Side Lions Club for their continued investment in our community!
